Lots and lots has changed.

I started off the new year with a few goals in mind. A healthy me, and a healthy me wanting to do good towards the environment. Many times I have failed at diets depending on what stage of my life I'm in. My Vegetarian/Pescatarian/Vegan lifestyles before I had my son were easily obtainable, but as of now, not so much. I've moved more towards a Paleo/Ketogenic diet. Everything I eat is mainly a lean protein, a healthy fat, and some type of vegetable, and fruit. It's been a week now and I haven't caved like I usually do around the third day. The best advice I can give to someone trying to become healthy and change their diet is,
"There is no one diet made for one person, everyone's body is different."
I had a realization that I can no longer be discouraged toward's not succeeding in a diet that is booming in media with other people flourishing from it, because it's only going to hurt my own success with my goals.
So beyond my diet, I've really wanted to become more waste free. Here is an example of how I'm going to accomplish this, and where I have began to start reducing waste.
Replacing my shampoo with a "Shampoo Bar" was where I first started (Places that sell these bar's are Amazon, Lush, Whole Foods, Sprouts, Natural Grocers, and even grocery stores such as Target, and Walmart!). There is also face and body bars that can be used as well.

Instead of using the basic plastic bags at checkout, I'm going to be ordering a set of four reusable grocery bags that only run for 9.99$!

REUSABLE ZIPLOC BAGS EXIST! I never knew this invention was even a thing. Obviously they're not like a normal Ziploc bag, they are made more from a cloth that are machine washable and they range from many sizes. I found the best ones from Amazon with many different patterns to choose from.

Coffee, the fuel of my morning, and afternoon, and evening. I find myself using a lot of Styrofoam cups at work with our machine, and also a lot of Starbucks cups when I'm not at work. To reduce waste, I have brought a coffee mug form home that is the perfect size to fit under our machine! Luckily Starbucks actually has a reusable cup, but Amazon sells them 13.94$ for a pack of 3, 16 oz. reusable cups. I'm not sure how it would work with going through a drive through of Starbucks, maybe if you just give them a heads up that you want to use your own reusable cup, but I will post an update once I have an answer.

These are just a few way's in my daily life that needed more attention towards waste reducing. If you have any other idea's or way's you reduce waste please comment below, and leave some information! Thanks for reading, keep it simple.
